Multicalendar: The Perfect Blend of Art and Information by Paweł Piłat

Mission

Multicalendar is a unique collection of high-quality calendars created by Paweł Piłat, featuring a blend of art, information, and world events. Each Multicalendar edition showcases not only the Gregorian calendar but also other calendars such as Mayan, Chinese, and Indian ones, as well as fascinating curiosities of a given year, such as eclipses, moon phases, constellations, or fourth dimension visualization.

The calendars are printed on premium materials such as synthetic paper, foils, or premium class paper, ensuring their longevity. The timeless design makes them suitable for use even after 28 years (for leap years), and they also have a decorative function, adding a unique touch to any space. Additionally, the Multicalendar 2024 include a free edition for wider accessibility and a limited NFT edition for collectors, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern digital art forms.

History

The first Multicalendar was created just before 2010

In a wooden cottage on the border of large lakes and woods. It sounds like a fairy tale, but it is true. The project is intended for 28 years since the Gregorian calendar is repeated after that time.

Each Multicalendar contains a set of interesting information about the world or events occuring in the particular year. Multicalendars are printed in screen printing technology because it allows us to use papers and other materials of the highest quality. From the very beginning, Multicalendars have been issued in limited and manually numbered editions of 50 items what makes them additionally unique.

Autor

Paweł Piłat

I was born in 1982 in Gliwice. In 2009 I graduated from the University of Humanities and Economics (Visual Arts department) in Lodz. I participated in national and international exhibitions. In the years 2006 - 2009 I worked as an assistant in the departmental lab and photographic dark room of the university. Since 2010 I have run Venedi, my own creative agency and photographic studio. I live and work in Szczytno, Poland.
